The use of our Sparkweaver app involves the processing of personal data. This Privacy Policy informs you about what data we collect, for what purpose, and on what legal basis.
We take the protection of your personal data very seriously and handle your personal data confidentially and in accordance with legal data protection regulations (GDPR) and this Privacy Policy.

Your account data, learning content and learning progress are stored on our own servers in the European Union. We do not use a database or hosting provider that would receive this data as a processor.
We only share your data with third parties in the following cases:
Mistral AI (AI Features)
Google Play Services (Android)
Apple App Store (iOS)
Depending on which store you obtained the app from, a subscription is billed either by Google or by Apple. In both cases we receive only the confirmation of a successful purchase.

Your account data, learning content and learning progress stay within the European Union. They are stored on our own servers and processed by an AI provider based in the EU.
The exceptions concern the store you obtained the app from.
If you obtained the app from the Google Play Store, Google LLC in the USA receives installation and subscription data and, if you have enabled diagnostics on your device, crash reports.
If you obtained the app from the Apple App Store, Apple Distribution International Ltd. in Ireland is your contracting party for obtaining the app and for purchases inside it. Apple processes installation and subscription data, and diagnostic data if you have enabled sharing on your device, and may transfer that data to Apple Inc. in the USA.
Both transfers are based on EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR). You can find the details in the Google and Apple privacy policies linked above.
Under GDPR, you have the following rights:

You can request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").

You can receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
